Gary Morrissey and Arlene Brennan, organizers of our Family Nature Days, plus approximately 31 volunteers who made these complex events possible. They greeted visitors, developed and led activities, provided music, took photos and set up and cleaned up.

Jeff Wade and Jill Nyland who together led four bird walks. These bird walks drew increasing numbers of people as migratory birds flew in, word spread and weather improved.

Tom Murphy, coordinator of the Stewardship Work Days plus some 20 volunteers who met monthly Spring through Fall. In addition, 11 volunteer from Starbucks locations, organized by Amanda Zahnle, participated in a workday. The volunteers cut re-sprouts from stumps and black willow trees, installed StoryWalk signs, cleaned up trash in the preserve, removed considerable debris and cleared the stream bank of weeds and dead vegetation.
